Museum Of Weird Books

The Museum of Weird books was started by a used book seller, that wanted to show off the most unusual books they had discovered. Pistil Books clearly point out that while they do not mock the author of these books, "we merely wonder at the world that produces the inexplicable need that these various publications seem to fill." So maybe they don't mock the authors, but the readers perhaps, just a little bit, and only in the very nicest way.

This is an interesting excerpt from a magazine for children entitled, "Crusade: The Story of the Bible Retold for Catholic Children"
"COMMUNISM is a world-wide scheme to make slaves of all men on earth, to overthrow the governments of freemen by force and violence, and to blot out the memory of God from the minds of men. It has succeeded in some of its aims, in many unhappy countries, and its leaders are trying hard to conquer the rest of the earth. Communists will lie, steal, cheat, and murder for their cause. It is a great enemy of the Catholic Church and of the United States of America."

So far Pistil books has about 26 unusual old books online, with excerpts and pictures. Hopefully, they will continue updating this project!

David Icke Writes About Obama

The king of conspiracy, David Icke, is warning the world to fight against the forces of hope-nosis so cleverly perpetuated by the Obama gang. IMO, David Icke tends to mix the truth with a little fantasy, and wrap it all up into an entertaining read. Many of the points he makes are interesting, and some are true, although that doesn't change the fact that David Icke just may be, a nut. I'm willing to recognize Obama is not the Messiah, but in return, will David Icke recognize that the lizard people may not be out to get him?

See the video David Icke is promoting on how Obama got elected:

If you read David Icke's article, it lists many reasons that Obama may turn America into a fascist government, but I believe this is exhibit A:

The official website of President-Elect Barack Obama, Change.gov, originally announced that Obama would "require" all middle school through college students to participate in community service programs; but after a flurry of blogs protested children being drafted into Obama's proposed youth corps, the website's wording was softened.

Originally, under the tab "America Serves" Change.gov read, "President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in under served schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps.

"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year," the site announced.

The language of requiring students to serve and the creation of a "Classroom Corps" sparked a surge of criticism from bloggers for bringing back memories of the much-publicized video of marching Obama youth and Obama's "civilian national security force," which the candidate said in July would be just as powerful and well-funded as the U.S. military.

David Icke is comparing Obama's youth corps with Nazis and the Hitler Youth Movement. While I don't agree with David Icke on many things, he is certainly a fascinating writer.

Brainwashing Cuddle and Coo Doll by Mattel

The Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Cuddle & Coo Doll sold by Mattel/Fisher Price says "islam is the light." According to Mattel it doesn't, but according to anyone that listens to it, it does. Outside voice experts have examined this doll, and have determined that the phrase was put there intentionally. There is doubt that Mattel would place it there to indoctrinate children, although the electronic chip responsible for the voice mechanism in the doll is made in Indonesia, a muslim country. While customers protest and threaten boycott, Mattel has promised to change the new Cuddle 'n Coo dolls produced, but refuse to recall the ones already on the market. In a statement by Mattel,
The Little Mommy Cuddle 'n Coo dolls feature realistic baby sounds including cooing, giggling, and baby babble with no real sentence structure. The only scripted word the doll says is "mama."

There is a sound that may resemble something close to the word "night, right, or light." To avoid any potential misinterpretation, we have eliminated that segment of the sound file from future production.

Because the original sound track is compressed into a file that can be played through an inexpensive toy speaker, actual sounds may be imprecise or distorted.

We remain confident in the high quality standards of our Little Mommy Cuddle 'n Coo dolls. If consumers have any questions or concerns regarding any Mattel or Fisher-Price toys, they may contact our consumer relations center at 800.524.TOYS (8697) and we will be happy to assist them.

We take every call from our consumers very seriously and do our best to help address their concerns.
An organization called MAMA, which stands for Moms Ask Mattel for Accountability is a public education effort by concerned families to protect children from being invited to join Islam, without their parents’ knowledge or permission. They are requesting that Mattel provide accurate labeling, or remove it from the market. Hear the Cuddle and Coo doll say, islam is the light.
