The Hurricane Ike mystery ship was uncovered near Fort morgan, Alabama due to the high winds that hit the Alabama Gulf Coast from Hurricane Ike. It is an unidentified ship that was buried deep in the beach sand for years. It appears to be steam powered, and many experts are speculating the Hurricane Ike mystery ship to be dated back to the civil war.
The Hurricane Ike mystery ship is about 150 feet long, 30 feet wide, and is primarily made out of wood. An artifact inside the ship, is an old water pump. A long pipe runs all the way down the center of the ship, and there are smaller pipes near by. The Hurricane Ike mystery ship, was discovered at the 6 mile marker on Fort Morgan Road.
